Government reconstitutes CBFC: Preity Zinta, Roopali Ganguly, Pankaj Tripathi & others join

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has implemented a major overhaul of the Central Board of Film Certification. The newly constituted 18-member panel includes prominent entertainment industry personalities such as actors Preity Zinta and Suniel Shetty. Unless otherwise directed, their appointments will remain in effect for a period of three years. In a separate development, Excel Entertainment is taking the initiative to voluntarily replace a track in the Mirzapur series.
