Actor Saurav Gurjar, who appeared in Mahabharat, has been remanded to judicial custody. The action follows a complaint from a woman accusing him of harassment and deception under the guise of marriage promises.
The pair initially connected on Instagram and continued their relationship through WhatsApp. According to the complaint, they subsequently lived together in both the United States and India, during which time Gurjar allegedly convinced the woman to resign from her job.
Authorities have launched a formal investigation into the allegations against the actor.
