Fahadh Faasil’s Telugu film Don’t Trouble The Trouble has been released in theaters. Earlier, Fahadh was seen in the Telugu films Pushpa 1 & 2 as Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, where he played the primary antagonist. However, in his latest Telugu outing, he plays a lovable fraudster who gets involved in a magical situation involving a child. The makers of the film, presented by SS Rajamouli, have termed it a children’s film for adults. The film has comedy, supernatural, and fantasy elements and a whole lot of heart. So, did the film land in trouble or not on its opening day at the box office? Scroll ahead to read.
How Much Did Don’t Trouble The Trouble Earn At The Box Office On Opening Day?
The Telugu drama starring Fahadh Faasil and Ssara Palekar had a slow start at the box office. Despite massive promotional efforts for the film, it had little impact at the box office. The film earned 1.65 crore net in India across 1,200 shows. The film saw an occupancy rate of 25%. This was despite the opening day being a national holiday. The film will have to rely on strong word of mouth to see any growth ahead. The film earned the largest share in Telugu, collecting 1.44 crore, while the Malayalam dub earned just 17 lakh. The Tamil dub earned 4 lakh.
A Sizable Growth For Fahadh Faasil
The Malayalee actor’s biggest solo-lead hit post-pandemic is undoubtedly Aavesham. However, his last solo release, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, was a box-office disappointment. So, in comparison, Don’t Trouble The Trouble is a jump in opening-day collection for the actor. Fahadh’s last solo-lead film was released on Onam 2025, clashing with Lokah Chapter 1 and Hridayapoorvam. The film collected just 75 lakh net on its opening day. Don’t Trouble The Trouble has earned 120% higher than Fahadh’s last solo-lead film.
