Box Office: Hanuman Ansh Beats Bhooth Bangla In North America; Mirzapur The Movie Enters Bollywood’s Top 3 Grossers Of 2026

Besides Dhurandhar 2, none of the Bollywood films have reached even the $5 million mark at the North American box office (USA and Canada) this year. However, if we set aside big milestones, many films have emerged successful in the territory, minting good profits. The two recent additions to the list are Mirzapur The Movie and Hanuman Ansh, both of which exceeded expectations and are still running in theaters.

Dhurandhar 2 tops the list of Bollywood’s top grossers of 2026 in North America

Talking about the all-time blockbuster first, Dhurandhar 2 is topping the charts among Bollywood’s best performers of 2026 by a huge margin. It raked in $28.64 million to top the list, and only two films have a chance to dethrone it: Ramayana and King. It is followed by Border 2, which actually underperformed but scored $3.5 million.

Mirzapur The Movie and Hanuman Ansh exceed expectations

Mirzapur The Movie is a big surprise, grabbing the third spot by grossing $3.34 million in 28 days. The film is still running in theaters but is expected to wrap up its run in the same position, below Border 2. The biggest surprise has been Hanuman Ansh, which has amassed a huge $2.47 million at the North American box office in 21 days. It is in the fourth place. What’s more interesting is that it surpassed Bhooth Bangla ($2.3 million) to claim the fourth spot.

As mentioned above, Hanuman Ansh has pushed Bhooth Bangla to the fifth spot. Main Vaapas Aaunga saw some traction in the territory, helping it gross $1.48 million. Below is the complete list, along with the collection in Indian rupees.

Very soon, Drishyam 3 will be on this list, and it is likely to claim the second spot within the first few days.
