Bollywood has seen its fair share of obsessive lovers over the decades, but few have managed to create the impact Shah Rukh Khan made with Anjaam and Darr. Now, real-life couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are stepping into the dark, murky waters of psychological stalker thrillers with their upcoming film Tu Hai Meri Kiran.
The trailer of the film dropped today, and it promises a haunting, edge-of-the-seat experience that pushes the boundaries of ek tarfa ishq into a terrifying new dimension.
Love, Fixation, And Madness
The trailer opens on a serene note, introducing Sonakshi Sinha as Kiran – a free-spirited, confident woman whose life takes a scary turn when Zaheer Iqbal enters her life, delivering what easily looks like the most challenging and dark performance. Rather than playing a conventional romantic hero, Zaheer plays an intensely possessive and obsessed protagonist whose affection gradually turns into an obsession.
