After The Drama and The Odyssey, actor Robert Pattinson continues his streak of success with Primetime. Supported by strong word-of-mouth and positive critical appreciation, the film has landed in the win column since its debut. While the film has not gained much audience overseas, it’s going strong at the North American box office.
Primetime North America Box Office
The Robert Pattinson-starrer has completed 10 days at the box office. On its 2nd discounted Tuesday, the film earned $1.1 million. This is higher than the second Tuesday collections of Napoleon ($1 million) and Mickey 17 ($ 1.1 million), but less than The Drama ($1.4 million). This brings the film’s cume to $36 million in the USA.
Primetime To Set New Record For Robert Pattinson
On its second Wednesday, the film will surpass the total of Pedro Pascal’s Materialists ($36.5 million). With this milestone, Robert Pattinson will become the only male lead to have 2 films in A24’s top 10 highest-grossing films of all time at the US box office. Apart from PrimeTime, Robert’s film The Drama also sits comfortably on the production house’s top list. The Drama earned over $48 million at the domestic box office during its theatrical run.

Set To Cross The Drama
Interestingly, Primetime cost A24 only $14.5 million to acquire distribution rights. This is more than enough for them to earn good profits from their investment. The film is currently eyeing a $50-55 million run at the US box office.
The crime drama thriller is less than $15 million away from surpassing The Drama at the North American box office. PrimeTime has been well received by audiences and opened with A24’s 3rd-biggest debut weekend. Therefore, with a steady hold at the domestic box office, it could beat The Drama in the upcoming weeks. But to break into A24’s all-time top 5 domestic grossers, it must surpass Uncut Gems, which has a $50 million lifetime total.
