Subhash Ghai praises Ranbir Kapoor and backs Nitesh Tiwari Ramayana

Subhash Ghai has backed Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, saying he expects a lot from the film and praising its director, storytelling and cast, including Ranbir Kapoor. Speaking at India Today Conclave Mumbai 2026 on October 10, Ghai said AI may transform filmmaking but cannot replace a good storyteller or alter the emotions at the heart of an epic. His daughter, Meghana Ghai Puri, also reflected on the challenges and responsibility of carrying forward his legacy.
