The box office run of the Karthi-starrer Sardar 2 is falling short of expectations. Despite debuting amid significant hype and anticipation, the movie opened to mixed-to-negative reviews. These critiques have triggered a continuous drop in ticket sales, culminating in a steep first-Monday crash that points toward a likely box office failure.
How Much Did Sardar 2 Earn At The Box Office In 5 Days?
The film enjoyed a decent opening in India, pulling in a net collection of 4.5 crore. Competing directly against Soori’s Mandaadi on day one, the Karthi vehicle actually secured a higher theater show count but still lagged behind its competitor. Figures have steadily fallen since the second day, with weekend daily takes dropping to roughly half of the opening day’s numbers.
After five days in theaters, Sardar 2 holds a net domestic total of 13.1 crore, translating to 15.46 crore in gross earnings. International markets have yielded weak returns, adding only 4.5 crore gross, bringing the worldwide gross to 19.96 crore. Additionally, the movie has lost over 1,000 shows across its first five days.

In total, Mandaadi stands 245% ahead of Sardar 2 at the five-day mark.
