Plot details:
Atlanta season three will show the aftermath of Paper Boi’s rise to fame and his new life as an Atlanta celebrity. This series also shows how Alfred Miles’ popularity changes him, notably in Atlanta Season Three Episode One, where he shoots a rival rapper only for it to be filmed by paparazzi and posted online.
Synopsis:
Atlanta focuses on Atlanta-local, Earn (Donald Glover), and his cousin Alfred as they attempt to build their rap careers. Atlanta also explores the Atlanta hip hop scene and Atlanta’s culture.
What’s new in season three?
Atlanta season three will have ten episodes, unlike Atlanta seasons one and two, which had eight. Earn is going to be at odds with Van after she finds out that he’s been cheating on her. Paper Boi is going to be off drugs, and Atlanta offers some major insight into his life post-drug addiction.
Darius is also trying to get clean, but getting out of Atlanta proves difficult for him as he has a daughter in Atlanta that he wants to see more often, so it’s hard for him to find the time to get out of Atlanta. Darius is also trying to find a new market for his music, as Paper Boi’s fame has been dwindling in Atlanta ever since he took an extended break from the music scene.
Van wants to build her own company outside of Atlanta and continues working on developing her app during Atlanta season three. She eventually closes Atlanta’s first-ever all-female rap group, Kween. Van becomes more and more guarded during Atlanta season three as she tries to avoid any contact with Rose because of her connection to Tommy.
