The Beastars visual novel series is a Japanese-style RPG about a world populated by anthropomorphic animals that are threatened to be destroyed by humanity and its overuse of resources following the arrival of an ancient prophecy.
Beastars follows Hana, who was raised in Japan after being born from a highly intelligent “wise hare” from Beastars and a human mother. She is able to read Beastar’s ancient language, which has been forgotten by most Beastars thanks to humanity’s attack on their culture over the centuries.
What’s new in season three?
Beastars season three will be set in the post-war era following Beastarth’s victory against humanity. Beastars suffered a great price in the war, and Beastars season three will deal with Beastarth’s recovery from it.
The Beastarrs cast includes many of the original voice actors as well as some new additions to the series. In addition to Hana, Rudy, Chiharu and Kisa, Beastars season three will feature the newcomers, Shiro and Lai.
Beastars is an original anime series created by Kei Sasuga about a society of anthropomorphic animals who have lived in peace for generations without knowledge or suspicion of human civilization. Humanity has finally discovered Beastarth’s existence through space travel, yet they cannot initially make contact with Beastars due to Beastarth’s unfamiliarity with human society. Beastars season three will deal with Beastarth’s recovery from it.
