But Big Mouth isn’t the only new show Murphy is working on with Netflix. The streaming giant ordered a 10-episode series from him called Ratched, starring Sarah Paulson as Nurse Ratched, an iconic character from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
Also included in the deal: a limited series about The Romanoffs from Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, and a Stranger Things crossover episode for A Series of Unfortunate Events.
The Cast of the Big Mouth Season 6 :
The Big Mouth season 1 star has also voiced characters in The Lego Movie, Big Hero 6, and the upcoming live-action/CG hybrid film, Boss Baby. In 2014, he and John Mulaney created the Hulu series called Big Bang Theory and produced it through his company, Oh Brudder Productions. He’s set to star as Mr. Peanutbutter on Netflix’s BoJack Horseman for Season 3 of the animated series (set to air later this year).
Murphy said he valued Big Mouth’s honest approach to acts.. “We’re just really grateful Big Mouth exists,” he said. “It means a lot that people want more.”
To celebrate Big Mouth Season 6, Big Mouth is releasing a brand new episode. Big Mouth Season 5 may have just come out in September 2018, but Big Mouth is back for another installment of the animated series. Big Mouth premiered on Netflix in October 2017 and quickly became one of the most popular adult animated series on there. Its popularity contributed to Big Mouth Season 5 being released earlier than expected with a release date set for September 23rd, 2018. The show was created by Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg along with Mark Levin & Jennifer Flackett who are also executive producers alongside Big Mouth creators Kroll (The League) and Goldberg (Family Guy).
“I would say that if you loved season 1 then season 2 is even more of a revelation. Big Mouth’s voice continues to get louder and we are getting better at what we do. Big Mouth is one of those shows that just gets better the longer it goes on,” Goldberg said in an interview with Variety. Big Mouth Season 5 features all your favorite characters including Nick Kroll as Andrew Glouberman, John Mulaney as his best friend, and neighbor Jay Duplass as his dad.
The Big Mouth Season 6 cast will also include Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live), Jason Mantzoukas (The League) Jenny Slate (Obvious Child).
