‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ is one of the most successful anime in recent memory, based on the similarly popular manga series of the same name.
Season 1 – Demon Slayer was considered one of the best shows of 2019, winner of the 2019 Newtype Anime Awards for Best Anime and the 2020 Crunchyroll Awards for the Anime. The Mugen Train, and the Demon Slayer film anime this week, releases in the Japanese theatres, but what details about season two of the series has been confirmed?
About Demon Slayer Season 2 :
The show follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young child. He sells Charcoal on the streets to help support his family, but on one day when he makes his way back home after selling the Charcoal, he discovers that his entire family has been attacked and it was killed by demons known as “oni.” Only his little sister Nezuko survived the attack, but she has sadly become a demon herself. Tanjiro then sets out to take vengeance on the demons by killing all of them. He is still trying to rescue his little sister from the trouble where she had in.
Storyline of Demon Slayer Season 2 :
The Demon Slayer’s idea lies in his principal character. Thus, Tanjiro where, one day has comes home to see that his whole family has been murdered by demons. His tiny sister, who also has become a sanglish ghost, is the only one to survive.
He begins his quest to become a demon-slayer so that his little sister can find a cure and help others from the same tragedy as his own family has been suffered.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date:
- There was no confirmed release date for the Demon Slayer 2 but it is possible that either in spring or in summer 2021 the series will be returning.
- Although a release date for Season 2, today (15 October), Demon Slayer’s second season was in production,” it is still unveiled.
But because this announcement did not mention that work on season II has ‘resumed,’ it is possible that the series is already in development for a couple of months. Based on the data given, the ambitious prediction for the release of the Demon Slayer Season 2 is April 2021, but it is probably more realistic to expect a premiere in Summer or even in Autumn 2021. Interestingly, many fans expect more detail on Season 2 to be announced in the next few months, as the demon slayer movie is released in Japan this week.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Plot:
The plot for season 2 of Demon Slayer will be immediately backed up by the next movie ‘Mugen Train,’ a movie from the end of season 1. As the anime is a direct adjustment of the original manga series, we can guess where the plot will take place in the second season. Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date:
- This film is scheduled for release in Japan on October 16, 2020 and it will be entitled ‘Ghost Slayer: Infinity Train Arc’

- A mobile game based on the Anime will also be released later this year, and PS4 will be released in 2021.
- We do not know the concept for these games, but if the franchise continues to tell the storey over each feature, expect some canonical material in the game.
