FUE Hair Transplantation
FUE hair transplantation is a method where “canals,” which are micro holes, are opened in the part that hair was lost. Grafts are later planted in the canals. A linear scar does not occur in the area where there is extraction. You will rarely notice that there has been extraction in that area in the first month. This method is a clean and natural method of extraction.
It’s crucial to ensure that the stage of opening canals is done correctly, as it’s at this stage where the process’s density and naturality are determined. For hair to come out, canals have to be put at an appropriate angle. Successful results are achieved by optimally adjusting the canal depth and ensuring the depth is close to the natural hair.
Process of FUE Hair Transplantation
- Collection
With a micro motor, a sharp point and hole tool, the grafts get removed from the scalp one after the other. The technician collects the grafts individually; these grafts have sides that split from the skin. Points of diameter, ranging from 0.7mm-1.25mm, are used depending on the patients’ graft size.
- Canal stage
After ensuring the patient is in no discomfort or pain, tools that are Micro-sized called ‘handle’ are now used to make micro-lateral incisions, also referred to as canals with specific depth, orientation, angle, and density. The handle should have a little sharp surface and have appropriate graft thickness and height to achieve this.
- Plantation
