Long story short, Fantastic Beasts 3 will be released in cinemas on April 15, 2022. Originally, it was thought the third movie would come out November 20, 2020, like the first two movies. This date was never set in stone and since Warner Bros pushed the production back, we know that 2020 will not happen.
The movie was supposed to start filming in March 2020. But then a new disease started and they couldn’t film. They had to wait until September 2020, which made the release date move from November 12, 2021, to July 2022.
In early February 2021, there was a production delay. The director finished filming later that month. I am chomping at the bit to start composing music for the movie.
Warner Bros has announced that they will release the movie in April 2022. Hopefully, this is the last time we change the date and we can look forward to it coming out then. The fourth and fifth movies have never had release dates. Originally we thought they would be released in November 2022 and November 2024, but now we know they will not be.
There is no guarantee that the third movie will be a hit, so it could be the end of the Fantastic Beasts series. So we might have to wait a while to see if we’ll get another one.
The fourth movie won’t happen anytime before 2024.
What is the plot of Fantastic Beasts 3?
Along with the title and new release date, we got a plot summary for the third movie. It is about Newt, Dumbledore, and more.

This passage is about a powerful wizard. He wants to take over the country. Professor Albus Dumbledore knows this, and he tells people that they need to work together to stop him from doing it.
“He cannot stop the evil wizard on his own. He needs Newt Scamander to help him. Others come too. They meet monsters and fight against them.”
There was speculation on where the third movie would take place. Some people thought it would be in Brazil and others thought it would be at Hogwarts. But Dumbledore is more important than anyone else and so the title of the movie means there will be more time at Hogwarts. We have not heard much from the cast. Some people have read the script, but they do not tell us what happens.
The first two movies had a great story with a lot of character development. It’s going to be like that in the third movie, too. A big war is coming on the backdrop of World War II, which will have epic battle scenes.

The third movie might end in a way that finishes the series. We need to wait and see what happens when it is released.
Who will be starring in it?
Most of the main cast from the first two films are expected to return in Fantastic Beasts 3. Eddie Redmayne leads the group as magizoologist Newt Scamander. Katherine Waterston plays his love, Tina Goldstein, Alison Sudol is her sister, Queenie; and Dan Fogler. Jacob Kowalski is the muggle who loves her.
Some people who watched the second movie will return in this one. Jude Law plays the younger version of Albus Dumbledore, who is a wizard. Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander. Jessica Williams will also return as Tina’s old teacher, Professor Eulalie Hicks. Ezra Miller will also return as “Credence Barebone.” He was originally named Aurelius Dumbledore in the second movie.
Johnny Depp was going to come back in the second movie. But then he played Percival Graves, and then he became Grindelwald. Depp was removed from a movie. MadsMikkelsen will take over the role.
