The official release date for Hawkeye on Disney+ is November 24th. It will be released after the September release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and before the December release of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
What is the plot of Hawkeye?
Hawkeye will be gone for Christmas! Disney+ has a new series that they revealed the story of. It is about when Hawkeye was not in his original story. He teamed up with Kate Bishop to fight an enemy from his past.
There is a chance we will see more about the Young Avengers in the future. Some of the founding members have been introduced in recent MCU Disney+ shows.
WandaVision introduced new versions of Wiccan and Speed. We think they will be back again. The movie, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, also introduces a character from the Young Avengers: Eli Bradley. He’s Elijah Richardson.
Another Young Avenger, Cassie Lang, has been in the MCU for a while. She first appeared in Ant-Man. Kathryn Newton will play the character in the movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Who will be starring in Hawkeye?
Hailee Steinfeld is the new big character in the Marvel Comics Universe. Her character, Kate Bishop, is a very good fighter and archer. She might be even better at being Hawkeye than Clint Barton.
Kate is a member of the Young Avengers. They are heroes in the Marvel universe. She is honest, truthful, and level-headed. And she has a close relationship with her mentor, who has already been in some movies from the Marvel universe.
Vera Farmiga will play Kate’s mother in the movie. The character is not in the comics very much, but she will play an important role. She is rich and powerful and was believed to be dead, but she turned up on the bad side.
Fra Fee will be in the show as Kazi. He is short for KazimierzKazimierczak, but he is better known as the mercenary Clown. Clown has hurt Clint’s hearing, so this story may be part of the show.
Tony Dalton will play Jack Duquesne. He is a former mentor of Clint’s who was in the comics. He has been both a villain and a hero, and at one point he was on the Avengers team.

Alaqua Cox is a new actor on the show, appearing as Maya Lopez / Echo. She is Native American and deaf, but she can copy any skill she has seen someone do. She can be like a hero who can copy fighting styles or more artistic talents like playing the piano. Cox is the first deaf actor to play a deaf character in the MCU.

Echo (a character in the comic book) will be getting a TV show of her own. We can expect big things from her because she is currently hosting the Phoenix Force, which is a cosmic powerhouse.
Zahn McClarnon will play Maya’s father and Brian d’Arcy James will play a role on this show.
In the new Marvel movie, a golden retriever is playing a puppy who becomes Clint’s friend. This all happened because he was rescued by Clint from a bad person.
Jeremy Renner will be in the movie with his children. His children are Ben Sakamoto, Ava Russo, and Cade Woodward.

Hailee Steinfeld will play Kate Bishop, who is a new protege of Hawkeye. Other people who have been cast for the show include Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh will be in this show. She played Yelena Belova in Black Widow.
The show will also have a dog that is playing the part of Lucky the Pizza Dog.
What can we expect?
Kate Bishop will be the first founding Young Avenger to have a lead role in the MCU. So there is a chance we might see some build-up for her future team. With the state of Avengers currently unknown in the MCU, the younger team may end up having a major role in this grand universe.
Hawkeye has a new series. It will be partly based on the comics “Hawkeye” by Matt Fraction and David Aja. Those were good. They won awards and are remembered as one of Marvel’s best releases in recent memory.
The comics in the question show Clint’s life when he is not being an Avenger. He is just a regular guy who wants to keep his neighborhood safe. And even though he was not on call with the big guns, he still keeps getting swept up into side missions and made fun of by his partner/protege, Kate.
The series also had stories about Clint’s friends and how they helped him. For example, when he found his dog Lucky and when he lost his hearing. He was just a regular person in the comics and not an over-the-top hero.
