However, approximately an hour later, they were back in operational mode, but not before the down time took the attention of global users.
It is believed that the issue began at around 10:40 PM in India and it went for more than an hour, where it prevented the WhatsApp users from either receiving or sending the messages. The company came with a reason that it happened due to a technical glitch.
Was it a coincidence or something else, that earlier in the day, people faced trouble in using Facebook services where the spokesperson apologized for the same.
The issue wasn’t just limited with Facebook or WhatsApp, Instagram followed next as well as the number of users who highlighted about its downtime amounted to 28,5000
Slowly, it was not hard for people to realize that all the three services related with Facebook Messenger, Instagram as well as WhatsApp were down across the globe.
It was not late for the users to start making memes where they were trying to ascertain the reason in a joking manner about the exact cause of the same.
The gravity of the problem took an alarming proportion in a very limited time as all of us are highly dependent on social media sites and a few minutes of downtime literally took a heavy toll in the minds of users.

The current outage has become the first of its kind where it has affected the three services namely Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. Considering the level of dependency; it is totally justifiable for users who couldn’t carry on their operations, due to downtime. Well, one hopes that such a thing doesn’t repeat in future.
