You wouldn't like it when he's angry. Vince McMahon is not a normal person. In addition to being incredibly wealthy and the king of an international industry, he is known as someone who can go to the bottom of nowhere. Some of the McMahon stories that come out of that a bit are legendary and now indirectly might have had something to do with getting rid of a top job in the company.
Many fans may not be happy about that, but WWE is the largest wrestling company in the world. They have hundreds of employees and several of them figure prominently in the company structure. Like many companies, they have a team of vice presidents with sophisticated job titles, and several of them work quite well. However, one of them is leaving and McMahon could be satisfied.
According to the Wrestling Observer newsletter, Vice President of Global Television Michael Mansury left the company. This was considered a surprise since Mansury was seen as a vital element in the company and he directed several episodes of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown. Mansury was considered someone who could be the next Kevin Dunn, which made McMahon especially critical of him. The game was a mixture of criticism and lack of promotion in the company. Mansury had been with WWE for eleven years and in the same position for eleven.
Although he was not fired, Mansury left the company. Take a look at a few others who left under less than great circumstances:

Opinion: This is one of those situations where it seems that McMahon has a group of people to whom he wants to direct things and, if you are not in that group, it has little use for you. The problem with that is that McMahon and the company will not exist forever. At some point, you have to find someone else to take over, if not for the future, just by adding a little fresh blood. It is not that the program cannot use it at this time.
