Plot details:
Love Alarm Season is set in a city that has been turned into a smart city. All the citizens are continuously monitored by their ‘Love Alarms’ or chips that have been implanted at birth to monitor their emotions, thoughts and actions for signs of danger.
When people’s Love Alarms identify if they’re feeling or thinking about a particular person, they are automatically matched up with them in the Love Alarms system. The story follows Lee Joon Gi (Kim Ji Hyeon) and Yoo Eun Jae (Song Joong Ki), who both have Love Alarms that go off every time their partner is close by, or even when thoughts of them enter their minds.
The Love Alarms are a mix of hardware and software that prevents crime, but they also have unintended consequences: the Love Alarm is always on alert, so partners must constantly think about each other or be alerted by a constant vibration in order to keep their Love Alarm from sounding an alarm which means they’ll never have time for themselves. The Love Alarm also prevents them from meeting other people because of the constant vibration and alert.
Synopsis:
Season two of Love Alarm continues to follow the story of Joong Ki (Seo Kang Joon), who both have Love Alarms that go off every time their partner is close by, or even when thoughts of their partner are strong. Love Alarm season three follows the story of Ha Yeon (Hoya), who is a detective, and wants to find out more about Love Alarms but he’s not sure if it will be worth it because his Love Alarm goes off when he touches anything that belongs to Soo Jung (Kim Min Jin).
