Although the idea was to discard Matt Hardy from WWE television on Monday Night Raw when he was attacked by Randy Orton, it seems that Vince McMahon has decided to use Hardy at least once more before his contract runs out.
It is now announced that Hardy will face Orton in an unrestricted match this Monday night. As many of you saw in Raw, Orton caught Matt with the counselor, the same thing he did to Edge a couple of weeks ago.
At the time of writing this article, Matt has not signed a new contract and, unless something changes, it seems that he will be a free agent on March 1 and many people speculate that he will debut as the exalted of The Dark Order in AEW Dynamite.
WWE has tried to sign a new contract, but Matt's problem has more to do with creativity than money, since he is financially prepared for life.
There are other companies interested in Hardy, so we'll see where it lands in March.
