She’s not your typical suburban mother and wife – she has a thriving business, drives a sports car and has more money than she knows what to do with. But behind closed doors, this glamorous facade starts to crumble as she becomes increasingly disconnected from those around her.

Plot details:
My unorthodox life season two is about a woman who has it all but in her pursuit of the American dream, she’s disconnected from those around her. The goal of this show was to portray what it would be like for someone to go through an emotional breakdown while trying to maintain some sense of normalcy. My goal is to make the viewer feel as if they are in my shoes, an outside observer looking in on this person’s life.
The show will depict how delusional she becomes about keeping up her perfect facade and what it takes for her to get out of that hole again. My character starts off happy but then slowly slips into depression throughout the season. My character starts off happy but then slowly slips into depression throughout Season II.
There is no central plot per see, so each episode will be different and show a new point in time for my character’s life- her ups and downs. The idea was to create an honest portrayal of someone struggling with mental illness who still manages to find happiness and joy in her life despite the mental hurdles.
This show is about a lot of things, but I think it’s most important to highlight how mental illness affects family members who are close with their loved one living with these illnesses. We sometimes forget that it’s not just the person with mental illness who is affected by this, but also their family members and close friends- My unorthodox life season

Unorthodox Life follows the life of Jules a woman who has never been able to live by society’s standards and who is committed to not only being successful for herself but also as an example for her daughter, Trinity. My Unorthodox Life season one takes us on a journey through Jules’ most recent years in business.
