OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 have started receiving new OxygenOS updates that bring the Android security patch of January 2020. The latest updates also add support for VoWiFi calls to OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7, specifically for Jio users. OnePlus has also optimized RAM management through the new OxygenOS update. The new updates have been released as a phased release and are reaching a limited number of users initially, with a wider deployment set for the next few days.
In India, OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 receive OxygenOS 10.3.1. However, users in Europe and the global markets are receiving OxygenOS 10.0.4 on the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 and OxygenOS 10.0.7 models on the OnePlus 7T Pro.
According to the change log provided in the official forum, the latest versions of OxygenOS for OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 include identical changes. The updates bring the January Android security patch and optimize RAM management. Specifically for Indian users, updates include VoWiFi support for the Jio network and a cloud service to allow synchronization with Contacts and Notes.
There is also an updated Work-Life Balance mode with optimized message notification, application selection and additional support for location, calendar and automatic tracking function. Indian users can also take advantage of cricket scores as a card on their shelf to access live game scores and team updates.
The new updates improve the black and white screen problems that occurred with some applications. There is also a feature that supports reminders for privacy alerts. In addition, updates improve system stability and correct general errors.
"The OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader implementation in a few days after making sure there are no critical errors," the OnePlus team wrote in the forum posts.
