Steps to join SBI Net banking.
- Open the Official website for OnlineSBI i.e. onlinesbi.com
- Select the option of New User Registration, under the personnel banking option. Click on the OK button to proceed.
- Enter your account details here, such as account number, CIF number, Branch Code, security code, mobile number, email id, the required facility.
- Click on the submit button to register the filled details.
- You will receive an OTP from the bank, via text message. Enter this OTP.
- Then go to Option ‘I have my ATM Card’.
- Then fill the ATM card details correctly, like card number, validity date, ATM pin, and security code. Then click the proceed button.
- A temporary username will be assigned to you and you will have to set a password.
- Afterward, the username would be sent to the registered number, with confirmation that you have been registered successfully.
- Now you can sign in to your account and change your username.

Enable OnlineSBI service for your account
An account holder in State Bank of India can easily enable OnlineSBI services for himself. The bank itself provides a pre printed Kit (PPK), to all its users. It contains a username and password unique for every user. A customer can use these details for the first visit. A customer needs to login to the SBI Net Banking portal through this credential. They need to visit its official website, onlinesbi.com. When a user login for the first time using details mentioned in the PPK he needs to go through a simple initialization phase, where he will be asked to share the details related to the account.

Password Recovery Option for the Net Banking
Many times it happens that due to work overload or some or the other reason, the user forgets his password. You do not need to create any panic for this. Not even you need to go to the bank for its recovery. It is quite simple to recover the lost password. You just need to follow some steps to get back to your account. You will be asked to share some personal details, with which you have registered, like date of birth, security code. After then you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Using it you can get the option of creating a new password.

In case you need to stop payment for a certain cheque. You can do it by Net banking. You just need to Login using your username and password. Under the dropdown menu of request and inquiry tab, select the cheque payment tab. Choose the cheque number, and complete the instructed process and your cheque payment will be stopped in a short interval of time.
