The Powerpuff Girls are back, and this time they’re live-action. The Powerpuff Girls is a popular cartoon that was created in 1998 and aired on Cartoon Network until 2005. In the show, three girls were granted superpowers by a scientist to combat evil forces threatening the city of Townsville. Now Cartoon Network has announced that it will be bringing the Powerpuff Girls back as a live-action series with an all-new cast! Plot summary:
Powerpuff Girls live-action series is the modern version of Cartoon Network’s original Powerpuff Girls, with a twist!
Blossom: the leader. She is the toughest Powerpuff Girl of them all and always takes charge to get her sisters out of trouble, but she can also be a bit bossy sometimes.
Bubbles: the sweetheart of the group who loves hugs and giving people balloons (you might say this PowerPuff girl is an airhead).
Buttercup: the tough and aggressive Powerpuff Girl who has a temper that she can’t control.
They have been granted these powers by an unexplained event that happened where Chemical X was released into the atmosphere from an unknown source. Powerpuff Girls is a cartoon series that originally aired on Cartoon Network in 1998, and has been running ever since for almost 20 years!
