Robert Pattinson's Batman costume revealed in camera test


The next Batman movie is almost a year and a half away, but now we have our first look at our new Caped Crusader, Robert Pattinson, in his costume for DC Films. " The batman.

Thursday, The batman Director and co-writer Matt Reeves posted a Pattinson camera test on his personal Vimeo channel. The 55-second video looks like it was filmed in a dark room, with the Dark Knight barely illuminated by a red glow. Pattinson walks towards the camera in slow motion, revealing the metal bat symbol embedded in the chest plate. Then, the camera is raised to show its shoulder armor and its hood, which appears to be made of leather or some other fabric, judging by the seams along the edge. (The "camera test" seems to be a trend with DC movies, with jester Director Todd Phillips showed Joaquin Phoenix's outfit and makeup in mid-2018).

The batman it will be a restart of the Batman film franchise, with Pattinson putting on the boots that Ben Affleck recently used in 2017 League of Justice. The film, which will also star Jeffrey Wright as Gotham Police Commissioner Jim Gordon and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
