Who is Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa?
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is an actor, producer, and writer. He has worked on the following TV Series: The Flash (2014), Supergirl (2015), and Riverdale. Roberto also wrote a play called “A Life in the Theatre,” which was published by Samuel French Inc in 2001.
He talks about how important it was to have a diverse cast in order to accurately represent the modern world that they are trying to portray in their series. Roberto discusses how important it was for him, as an actor and writer of color to be able to represent his culture on Riverdale along with other actors who shared similar backgrounds.
He focuses on season four of Riverdale, which is considered a reboot in order to bring back some old cast members from previous seasons along with new ones. Roberto discusses what fans can expect from this new season and what it was like for him to be able to bring back some of his old cast members. Roberto talks about how important the social media presence is on shows such as Riverdale because fans are so passionate about all different aspects, including fashion which Roberto says he loves being a part of.
RIVERDALE season 6 will also open with a “five-episode event”.
