See NASA astronaut Christina Koch meet her dog after a year in space

Christina Koch obtained a spacewalk selfie in January 2020.

Astronauts who spend months orbiting the International Space Station miss their families. They miss the food of the Earth. And they definitely miss their dogs.

NASA astronaut Christina Koch returned to the planet's surface. on February 6 after spending a whopping 328 days in the ISS. Koch posted an adorable video of his meeting with his dog on Twitter on Thursday.

The video shows the anxious puppy wagging a storm and madly scratching a glass door when Koch approaches. There are many shakes and Koch seems equally excited to meet his canine friend. This is the type of video that you can loop and enjoy again and again.

"I'm not sure who was more excited. I'm glad he remembers me after a year!" Koch wrote. The puppy's name is LBD, which means "Little Brown Dog." Koch adopted her from human society.

Koch set a record for a woman's longest space flight and she participated in the first exclusively female spacewalk in October 2019. You can also include "proud father father" at the top of your resume.
