Welcome to my blog! My name is Steinn Armann Magnusson and I am a Icelandic writer, poet, and artist. it is my Biography, I was born in Reykjavík in 1965 and grew up in a small town in the south of Iceland. I currently live in Copenhagen, Denmark with my wife and two young daughters.

I have been writing since I was a teenager and have published six novels, three collections of short stories, and two books of poetry. My work has been translated into several languages and has won numerous awards.
In addition to writing, I also enjoy painting, photography, and music. I am a big fan of classical music and opera, and enjoy going to the theater. I am also an avid traveler and have been to many countries around the world.

Early life
Steinn Armann Magnusson was born in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1943. His father was a civil engineer and his mother was a homemaker. He has two sisters. He grew up in Reykjavík and attended primary and secondary school there. In 1960, he went to study engineering at the Technical University of Munich in West Germany on a grant from the Icelandic government. However, he only studied there for one year before returning to Iceland.
Education
Steinn Armann Magnusson was born in Iceland but educated in England and the United States. He studied at the University of Iceland, the University of London, and Harvard University. After completing his studies, he worked as a journalist for a time before moving into the business world.
Personal life
Steinn Armann Magnusson was born on May 26, 1964, in Reykjavík, Iceland. He is the son of Bergþóra Steinþórsdóttir and Ármann Jónsson. His father was a well-known television journalist and his mother was a teacher. He has two brothers, Ólafur and Sigurður. SteinnArmann grew up in Reykjavík and attended Menntaskólinn við Hamrahlíð, a college preparatory school. He then studied at the University of Iceland, where he received a degree in economics.
After graduation, SteinnArmann worked for several banks in Iceland before moving to New York City in 1990 to work for Lehman Brothers. He left Lehman Brothers in 1995 to join Icelandic Investment Bank, where he worked until 1999. In 2000, he joined Kaupthing Bank, where he served as managing director until 2003.
In 2004, SteinnArmann and his brother Ólafur founded FL Group, an investment company specializing in the airline industry. The company acquired a stake in low-cost carrier WOW air in 2012.
Career
SteinnÞór Armann Magnússon (born 30 October 1984), sometimes credited as S.T.A.M., is an Icelandic actor. He is known for his roles in the films Sense8, Game of Thrones, and The Revenant.
Magnússon was born in Reykjavík, Iceland, the son of Guðmundur Þór Magnússon, a film critic, and Sigurlaug Baldvinsdóttir. He has an older sister, Sigrún Þóra Margrét Magnúsdóttir (born 1981), who is an actress and singer. His paternal grandfather was the Icelandic artist Stefán Stefánsson (1908–1982). He began acting when he was 11 years old in school plays. His first film role was in the Icelandic filmEnglar alheimsins (1999).Trapped season 3.
He moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue his acting career, and has since appeared in a number of American television series and films. In 2015, he had a recurring role in the Netflix series Sense8 as Hernando Fuentes, a closeted gay man living in Mexico City with his fiancée Lito Rodriguez (Miguel Ángel Silvestre). The following year, he appeared in the film The Revenant as Hawk Genius, a Native American hunter aiding Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) in his quest for revenge.
Awards and recognition
In 2003, Forbes magazine recognized Magnusson as one of the “Up and Comers” in their annual piece on the 100 most powerful celebrities in the world. In 2007, he was ranked #78 in Newsweek’s “100 Most Powerful People” list. In 2009, New Statesman placed him 38th in their annual “The World’s 50 Most Influential Figures” report.
Philanthropy
SteinnArmann Magnusson (born November 26, 1955) is an Icelandic businessman and philanthropist. He is the co-founder of Baugur Group, an international investment company. He is also the founder of the SteinnArmann Foundation, a charitable organisation that provides financial assistance to worthy causes in Iceland.
The SteinnArmann Foundation has provided financial support to a number of Icelandic organisations, including the Icelandic Red Cross, UNICEF Iceland, and the Reykjavik City Museum. In addition, the foundation has also supported scholarships for Icelandic students studying abroad.
Later life
In 2004, Magnús was elected as one of 20 individuals to the founding committee of the XPRIZE Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring about “radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity”, through incentivized competition. In 2015 he became a those inducted into the Space Foundation’s Hall of Fame.
Legacy
After his death, Steinn’s work was continued by his son, Orri Stefánsson, who completed the translation of the Edda into Icelandic. He also edited and published a number of other manuscripts that had been left unfinished by his father, including a collection of folktales and a dictionary of Old Icelandic.
