Superman or The Batman? That is the question that DC fans are asking themselves as Man of Steel 2 trends online. The upcoming sequel to the 2013 film has divided fans, with many taking to social media to declare their allegiance. Some argue that Superman should stay in the spotlight, while others believe that Batman is the rightful heir to the throne. The debate is heating up, and it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top!
The storyline of The Batman
The Batman is said to be darker and more grounded than that Man of Steel, which may be why some fans are drawn to it. The Bat-Family Setup in the DCEU Is Already Much Better Than Batman’s
The DCEU has already done a much better job of setting up its version of the Bat-family than The Batman ever did. In Man of Steel, we were introduced to Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, two important members of Superman’s supporting cast. Then, in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we met Martha Kent and Perry White, who play similar roles in Superman’s life. The DCEU has also set up Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth and Lucius Fox, who are both important figures in Batman’s world. Meanwhile, The Batman barely even introduced us to any of the members of its Bat family. We met Commissioner Gordon very briefly, and we saw Two-Face for about two seconds.

You should know more about The Batman
The only other member of the Bat-family who even appeared in The Batman was Catwoman, and she wasn’t even a part of the team. So, it’s safe to say that the DCEU has done a much better job of setting up its version of the Bat family. The question is, will they use them in The Batman? The answer to that question is probably no. The DCEU has been very clear that they want to keep Superman and Batman separate. They’ve even gone so far as to say that The Batman will be its standalone movie, not connected to the rest of the DCEU. I’m more excited for The Batman. I think it has the potential to be great What do you think? Are you more excited for The Batman or Man of Steel sequel?
