The swamp thing plot is yet to be announced and we know that it will have 13 episodes. We also know that James Wan (Aquaman producer) is coming on board as the new showrunner for this series which was previously running under David Goyer who has stepped back to become a consulting producer.
The swamp monster is going to be on Earth and we will hopefully learn more about his back story in season two of swamp thing. It’s unclear what this transformation means for Alec Holland, but it’ll be interesting to see how he adapts now that he has these new powers.
Synopsis:
A small-town doctor finds himself imbued with plantlike powers and must protect his family from a sinister swamp monster who is trying to take over the town. Swamp Thing Season Two is going to be released on the streaming service soon. James Wan, who produced Aquaman, will take over as showrunner for this series.
What’s new in season two?
In season two, the swamp creature looks more like a man. The swamp monster will also have new powers this time around and it is going to be interesting to see what they are. The showrunner change happened because of David Goyer’s departure from the series which was announced last month. He had been on as consulting producer for the first season.
This show is coming out on the DC streaming service and you will need to have a subscription in order to watch it when it comes out. The swamp monster has been seen as a man-like creature before but now he looks more human. It’s unclear whether this change was done because of feedback from viewers or if it was a change that David Goyer wanted to do from the beginning.
