Hana Kimura, a talented emerging Japanese fighter who is currently starring in the latest series of, died at 22 years old.
The cause of death has not been confirmed, but Stardom, the promotion Kimura wrestled with in Japan, posted about his death today on Twitter.
"We regret to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away," the tweet read. "Please be respectful and allow time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with your family and friends."
Kimura had reportedly been a recent victim of bullying on social media and had tweeted disturbing images before his death.
"Thanks to everyone who supported me," he tweeted. "I love it. I'm weak, I'm sorry. I don't want to be human anymore. It was a life I wanted to be loved. Thank you all, I love you. Goodbye."
Kimura, the daughter of Kyoko Kimura, was born into a wrestling family and had been fighting professionally since 2016. She was a rising star on the Japanese wrestling scene. Well-known wrestling commentator Dave Meltzer recently tweeted that Stardom planned to prepare her as his main lead star.
