-The Baby-Sitters Club Season Two is an American animated sitcom based on the children’s book series of the same name by Ann M. Martin created by Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó, the creators of Rugrats. It aired on the television channel Nickelodeon from August 15 to December 13, 1997, for twenty episodes.
-The series stars the voices of America Ani & hellip; the club gets a new member, the members have to handle the responsibility of being in charge, and the girls go on a camping trip.
Synopsis:
-This season was the first one animated by Klasky Csupo Animation co. The series follows four preteen girls who form The Baby-Sitters Club: Mary Anne, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and the shy Dawn Schafer.
-In the season opener, the girls discuss in a meeting who to add to the babysitting club, and they decide on Mallory Pike after she is invited over by Mary Anne for waffles when nobody else can come up with an excuse not to invite her. Later at the Pikes, the girls meet the Pike family’s new dog, Farley Drexel (more commonly known as “Fudge”), who is a terrible handful and the source of much grief for his owners.
-In the next episode, the babysitters club has to deal with the responsibility of being in charge when their client’s parents have to go out of town.
What’s new in season two?
-In the episode “The Ghost at Dawn,” the ghost of a young girl named Deirdre haunts the schoolyard and scares the students, including Dawn Schafer (who later figures out that it is her friend Roberta’s way to spend time with her).
-The second season sees the babysitters take on some new challenges! The girls learn the joys of babysitting twins while the boys in the club (and outside of it) begin to grow up and mature into young men.
