Plot summary:
The Boss Baby is the youngest of the litter in the Templeton family. Tim, as he prefers to be called, has a huge imagination and an even bigger heart-and the boss baby’s intelligence makes him the most powerful kid around. But when his family uses up all their money on luxuries they don’t need or want like electric blankets and the on-demand TV service, the boss baby is thrown out the window into a dark alley.
Theme:
The Boss Baby is saved by his sister’s cagemate Nana who takes him to her apartment in the sky where she lives with a lot of other kids from the orphanage down below. Tim has never been happier as he discovers the joys of the imagination, the excitement of pretend play, and the beauty in the world. But when they find out that Nana is going to be evicted from her home because the skyscrapers are being demolished so a new luxury hotel can be built on the land-Tim must figure out how to save them all and put his sister’s greed and the faceless hotel developer out of commission.
After a daring rescue, the Boss Baby team is back to business as usual Jim’s bossy sister who rules the world from their dad’s desk while Tim tries to make the best of his role as the baby in charge. But when they find themselves trying to save the other kids from the big bad wolf, the Boss Baby team learns that they can’t do it without the help of others.
Together, Tim and his sister learn the meaning of family-that sometimes a brother or sister is not just someone you share DNA with but also the people who love you most in life. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned about the Boss Baby, it’s that he has no problem getting the whole family involved in his plans to take over the world.
Synopsis:
A brief synopsis of the Boss Baby films: the first film follows the story of a baby who is the boss, and two siblings who are less than excited to share their new home with him. The second movie sees the boss baby’s days numbered as he will soon be executed by his father for being too powerful in this toddler world. But the boss baby has other plans, and the whole family gets in on the action.
In the third instalment of Boss Baby, it’s time for the siblings to head off to school and as luck would have it they are placed in the same class with their new little brother! The devilish duo takes advantage of this opportunity by making sure that the boss baby is the centre of the class’ attention every day.
The Boss Baby goes back to school for the third time in this colourful family-friendly comedy.
