In The Rookie Season 4, the stakes are higher than ever before. The team is on the hunt for a murderer who has killed two people and is determined to kill again. The case takes them from Seattle to New York City and back again, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. The show centres around rookie female detective Veronica “Ronnie” Dickson (played by Alyssa Diaz).

-Female detective Veronica “Ronnie” Dickson (played by Alyssa Diaz): The rookie detective. The only woman on the force who has to work twice as hard to prove herself in a man’s world.
-Micah Dawson (played by Jay Hayden): The veteran homicide detective and Ronnie’s mentor. Micah is an African American with deep roots in Seattle, but he grew up living all over America due to his father’s military service. The son of a single mother, Micah is the epitome of responsibility and dedication to his family.
-Gavin Ortiz (played by Richard T Jones): The lead detective on Ronnie’s squad who has been working at Seattle PD for over 20 years with an unblemished record until now. Gavin had a reputation as a tough, no-nonsense cop, but he’s also known for having an uncanny ability to connect with the victim. The only person who can take him down is his ex-wife, and it took 20 years of marriage counseling to finally get out of her clutches!

Plot details:
The Rookie Season Four will see the team up against a new type of narcotic called The Badge. The supply is coming into Seattle PD from corrupt cops and detectives in other departments, but Ronnie has no idea who’s behind it all. The team will have to work together and get creative in order to find the culprits. The series also stars James McElhone, Tanya Thompson, Travis Milne, as well as guest star Sonya Salomaa (The Killing).
Another thing that’ll be happening is Dov getting a new love interest! The young woman is named Caroline, and she’s just finished school. The two are completely different people, but they have a lot in common, so it could be the start of something great!
What’s new in season four?
The Rookie is back with a new season! The first episode, “Crime and Punishment,” features a corrupt cop as Ronnie (Rose) tries to find out who he’s working for within Seattle PD or outside of it. The team also has to deal with the fallout of her decision. The last two episodes are going to be a whirlwind of cases, as The Rookie Season Four will come to a conclusion.
At the end of The Rookie’s first three seasons, there were always moments that would have you hooked for more. The last two episodes of The Rookie Season Four might just be the most gripping The Rookie has ever been.
