What is the release date of The Walking Dead season 11?
The Walking Dead season 11 premiered on 22nd August 2021 in the US. It was on AMC before coming to the UK, exclusively on Disney Plus, on 23rd August.
The new episodes will show up on the streaming service instead of FOX UK. It is better to do this because you will not have to wait for a whole week to see the next episode.
Season 11 of the show will start soon. The producer wants people to know that it might be worth the wait.
There will be 24 episodes in the season. There are two batches of 12 episodes that come out at different times. The second batch is probably coming out in 2022.
In the meantime, people in the UK have enjoyed some extra episodes of Season 10. They aired from early March until Easter Monday.

What is the plot of The Walking Dead season 11?
The Walking Dead storyline will finish with the 11th season. But there is still more from the franchise overall.
Scott Gimple said, “It’s been 10 years since the show began. There are two more seasons to come and stories to tell.”
This show is about people who are alive. It was made by people who like the show. The cast, the writers, and the producers all work hard to make it happen. These are all people who wrote Robert Kirkman’s comic book script, too! And the fans are really good – they support it a lot!

In March 2021, the Negan actor told Collider that there had been no intention to end the show here. Showrunner Angela Kang was surprised by the decision.
He said: “The news when we got it in the middle of the pandemic, was a complete surprise. It was not only a surprise to me and everyone on the show, but also to people who worked with the show from production.
“Scott and Angela were not sure what the next thing would be. They had everything planned out for Season 11, but then something happened and they had to change their plans. They still have to finish the story.”

Fans have thought that Lennie James might come back to the show. He was in the first episode. He said, “You will be surprised how many people are in the show.”
The man who will play Mercer in season 11 has been confirmed. He was introduced towards the end of the comic book series, but he made a big impression on people. Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s son will appear in the fifth episode of season 11 as a zombie.
Morgan’s son is going to be a walker in a TV show. He has been getting his medical tests, and he is very happy.

Season 10 of the show saw Robert Patrick, who starred in Terminator 2, play scorned survivor Mays. OkeaEme-Akwari played the part of Maggie’s right-hand man Elijah and Lynn Collins was introduced as outsider Leah.
In April, Deadline reported that Jacob Young joined the cast of The Blacklist. He is playing a new character named Deaver. Details are not being told yet. Laila Robins also joined the cast as Pamela Milton, while she was in The Boys and The Blacklist.
