Plots of previous seasons:
–Season one, Rick and his family have been searching for a safe place since The Walking Dead season one. They find it in Atlanta, Georgia but they are forced to abandon their home when the walkers invade.
The group then settles at The Greene Family Farm where they live out of sight from other people before being chased away again by the Governor’s militia. The group forces The Governor to retreat and seek refuge in The Prison.
–Season two, the prison is overrun with walkers who are let inside through unknown means. The survivors flee by foot or vehicle to a nearby farmhouse where they again find safety until it too was destroyed by an onslaught of zombies.
They were forced to take shelter in The Center For The Well Being, which was eventually overrun by walkers and the survivors were forced to escape a swarm of zombies.
The group is left in a new safe haven at The Alexandria Safe-Zone where they attend community dinners every night.
–Season three begins with Rick’s son Carl being shot through the eye during an altercation between Rick and The Governor.
The group flees The Alexandria Safe-Zone and The Walking Dead returns to a chaotic, post-apocalyptic world where they find themselves in the company of other survivors at The Hilltop Colony.
–Season four The group is now led by Rick. The survivors are living at The Hilltop Colony, and they have been joined by King Ezekiel from The Kingdom. Negan becomes the main villain in this season.
–Season five A greater sense of unity between Alexandria Safe Zone and The Hilltop Colony has emerged since their joint victory against a large herd of walkers. The Sanctuary has been abandoned and The Saviors are being hunted by Rick’s group. In the fifth season, The Walking Dead was renewed for a 16-episode tenth season, premiering in October 2017.
–Season six The new war with The Saviors is going well.
Alexandria has been destroyed and The Hilltop Colony lost a lot of lives fighting the walkers but they were able to stop them from overrunning their base.
Rick, Maggie, Sasha, Abraham, Eugene and Aaron are on a mission to The Kingdom where they plan on bringing all survivors together in an effort to take The Saviors down once and for all.
–Season seven: the combined forces of Alexandria, The Hilltop, The Kingdom and The Scavengers have successfully managed to defeat Negan’s saviours until they were overrun by walkers.
Rick leads the charge back into the sewers in hopes of destroying them before it is too late.
The group must rely on their military might and guerrilla tactics to battle The Saviors in a final act of defiance.
–Season eight: Rick’s coalition is fractured, with each member heading off into different directions as they try to put together the pieces from Negan’s defeat at The Hilltop. The introduction of new communities brings fresh challenges for Rick and the group.
The survivors are separated by hundreds of miles, so they struggle to make contact with one another as they face neverending threats from The Saviors.
A formidable new enemy that will stop at nothing until Rick’s people-and those Alexandrians who have managed to work their way into his inner circle-are all dead.
– Season nine The group has been captured by The Saviors, who threaten them with the destruction of their family members if they refuse to sacrifice The Hilltop.
Rick and Daryl go on a mission in order to get Maggie’s help against The Saviors, but it goes awry when Negan captures Daryl.
– Season ten: the world is still reeling from the after-effects of The Great War when Rick is faced with the reality that not everyone has survived.
The group enacts a plan to journey from The Hilltop, where they have taken refuge after The Great War, in an attempt to find out who may still be alive and bring them back home.
– Season eleven The time has come for The Walking Dead to bid farewell to Rick Grimes as he takes his final bow in the ultimate battle against Negan – who still stands among the living.
The story will follow our group of survivors led by very different leadership into a new era of The Walking Dead. The future is bright for Rick Grimes, but the world he leaves behind will be forever changed with his absence.
