Add two story missions, limited time rewards.
Following its provocation of details earlier this week, Ubisoft has revealed more about its new Terminator crossover for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which begins today, January 29.
The procedures should already be underway and include the opportunity to face a challenging T-800 cyborg on daily war and interception missions. In addition, today it brings the first of two new Terminator-themed narrative missions that can be played alone or cooperatively. The second arrives on February 1.
The full story arc of Breakpoint Terminator, which takes place in the new Auroa location, sees players teaming up with future lady Rasa Aldwin, and Ubisoft says they expect "multiple mission settings, enemies and dialogues inspired by the The Terminator's original 1984 film. "
Completing the missions between January 29 and February 6 will grant the likes of weapons and vehicles with Terminator themes, in addition to the "iconic punk" outfit of the film. There are also cosmetic packages, which allow players to dress their ghosts like Terminator or Kyle Reese.
While limited time rewards will only be available during live events, Ubisoft says the two story missions will remain in the game.
The Ghost Recon Breakpoint Terminator event is available on all platforms: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and, yes, Stadia.
