Update on rumored armatures for 2020 WWE Hall of Fame | Newsdio

As first noted on Wednesday by WrestleVotes, The Bella Twins and Jushin "Thunder" Liger will be included in the WWE Hall of Fame. They will join the NWO as part of this year's class of induced.

In the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed that the WrestleVotes report is accurate. There are others ready to be included but have not yet been confirmed.

Vince McMahon has a quota that he wants to fill every year where at least one woman enters and the limit for deceased fighters is not more than one.

For what it's worth, Randy Orton is not the only person who presses for Ken Shamrock. I was told that at least one other person has driven the idea that Shamrock be included. Shamrock has not done anything with the company since he left in 1999 to return to the UFC, but he would like WWE to recognize him for his work in the wrestling business and would like to repair the bridge with the company. Shamrock will be installed in the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame in October.

Another name that was suggested to me is "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith. Paige suggested his name in a Twitter post and others have done it privately. I don't know if it will be induced this year, but it is interesting that his son, Davey Boy Smith Jr., appeared on WWE's The Bump this week.
