The WandaVision theories are exploding and one of the theory claims that Agnes may be more than Wanda and Vision’s neighbor. Thus, it gave a hint that she could be the notorjohs Marvel Villain Agatha Harkness. WandaVision is the kickoff for the Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic universe and thus, the Disney+ series will be laying the groundwork for the upcoming movies and series.
WandaVision had the first two episodes, and in both the releases, everyone tried to pick out the Easter Eggs and the clues about all that was actually happening with Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany). One of the mysterious characters of the show is none other than Agnes who happened to be the nosy neighbor of Wanda and Vision. The fans believed that she could be Agatha Harkness who is regarded as a powerful Marvel witch.
The character of Agnes is played by Kathryn Hahn who had unexpectedly shown up in the first episode wherein she made herself right at the home in Wanda and Vision’s home. She assists Wanda to plan the anniversary dinner for Vision. Agnes says that her husband, Ralph has her anniversary in 2nd of June, 2021. One of the fans deduced that this will serve as a clue which Agnes is Agatha since 2nd of June. It was the date for Salem Witch Trials in 1692. Agatha has been a member of New Salem, back in the day. Wanda discovers the colored top helicopter and sees the S.W.O.R.D. symbol, Agnes is right here with a pet rabbit of the talent show. She distracts Wanda about the helicopter and what the symbol actually depicts!
S.W.O.R.D. is a subdivision of S.H.I.E.L.D. and it stands for the Sentient World Observation and Response Department. Agnes wears the same oval brooch in the first 2 episodes with both of her outfits which is certainly another clue which she could be Agatha Harkness. Agatha also adorns herself in a similar kind of brooch in her appearances in the Marvel Comics. If you are still wondering about Agatha Harkness, the character was one of the most powerful witches on the Earth and later she became a governess who used to tutor the kids in need. Wanda killed Agatha later on after she confronted about being the mentor to her kids.
