According to NotiCel and AP, Bad Bunny's ex-girlfriend is suing him. Carliz De La Cruz Hernández claims the singer stole her voice for two songs.

According to Puerto Rican publication NotiCel and the Associated Press, Bad Bunny is being sued for $40 million by his ex-girlfriend Carliz De La Cruz Hernández for using her voice in two songs.

"Pa Ti" (2016) and "Dos Mil 16" (2022) feature a breathy De La Cruz saying, "Bad Bunny, baby." Both songs are approaching 1 billion YouTube and Spotify streams.

According to NotiCel and AP, the lawsuit, filed in March in a Puerto Rican court, alleges that De La Cruz's "distinguishable voice" has been used without her consent on the songs, promotions, concerts, television, radio, social media, and musical platforms.

"Thousands of people have directly commented on Carliz's social media and every time she goes out about 'Bad Bunny, baby.'

This worries, anguish, intimidates, overwhelms, and stresses De La Cruz "according to NotiCel.
