Although Sting is no longer under contract with WWE, that hasn't stopped WWE from airing a new special in the WWE Hall of Fame. It will air on WWE's streaming service, WWE Network, Sunday May 31.
WWE Network News reports that this new show, Sting: The Lost Tape, will feature never-before-seen footage of Sting from the 1995 WCW Slamboree pay-per-view event.
In this show, he faced Big Bubba Rogers in the semi-main event. You can see the synopsis here:
"With never-before-seen cameras and interviews, cameras follow Sting behind the scenes before his big game at WCW Slamboree 1995."
In recent weeks, there has been speculation that the WWE Hall of Fame could be directed to AEW. The reasons for this are because he is not under contract with WWE, he recently praised Lance Archer and Cody Rhodes for leaving some teasers.
In fact, Archer did a recent interview in which he stated that he believes Sting could contribute "absolutely" if he joins AEW. You can watch that interview here.
