No Time To Die is based on a series of books written by Lee Child and published between 1998 and 2010. It also stars Clare Danes as Annie Bracknell, Noomi Rapace as Elsa Bannister, Patrick Wilson as Roger Wilder, and Paddy Considine as Benny Whitehead.
Synopsis:
It is set in the post-apocalyptic near future where people fight for survival against a virulent disease that turns humans into zombie-like creatures and has wiped out most of the population. It focuses on James Silva, who leads an effort to find a cure while protecting himself from infected citizens and his former allies as they turn into zombies.
The film was directed by Kevin MacDonald from a screenplay written by Lee Child, Joel Cox and Christian Contreras with story credit to Tom O’Connor. The production companies are No Trace Camping, Inc., and VMI Worldwide.
It was the first collaboration between producer Stephen J. Eads (No Time To Die) and director Kevin MacDonald since 1987’s The Big Easy starring Dennis Quaid, Ellen Barkin and John Goodman.
