Soori’s Mandaadi debuted in cinemas on September 10 with minimal promotion. Despite facing competition from Karthi’s Sardar 2, the movie immediately won over viewers starting on its opening day. This sea-based sports action feature quickly resonated with audiences and is tracking toward becoming a commercial success. The Tamil sports drama enjoyed a strong debut, bringing in roughly 5 crore domestically. It comfortably outperformed its box office rival, Sardar 2. On its second Thursday, the picture hauled 3.25 crore net across India. Its total net collections after the first week reached 57.3 crore, translating to 67.61 crore in gross earnings. International markets added 12.9 crore in gross revenue, pushing the worldwide cumulative total to 80.51 crore.
