Dev Sharma reveals why he was rejected as Lakshman in ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Adipurush’

Actor Dev Sharma, currently starring as Lord Ram in Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha, has discussed missing out on the opportunity to play Lakshman in both Adipurush and Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming Ramayana. According to a report by mid-day, Sharma explained that disparities in height and physical build between him and the actors cast as Ram led to his rejection on both occasions. Initially, these setbacks made him feel that his involvement with the epic tale was simply not meant to be, though he has since secured his present role.
