In under a month, the movie powered past the $150 million threshold globally, while international earnings alone surpassed $100 million. Currently positioned at number 11 domestically, the feature has successfully climbed into the franchise’s top three highest-grossing installments.
Despite encountering mixed reviews, the Sony release avoided box-office failure thanks to its modest budget. Featuring a fresh cast alongside Lin Shaye returning in her familiar role, the picture initially faced worries that a sluggish beginning might prevent Insidious 6 from cracking the series’ top five.

Figures from Box Office Mojo indicate that the picture pulled in $500K domestically on its fifth Sunday, marking a 39% decline compared to its fifth Saturday performance while slipping two positions on the charts. This brings the domestic cumulative gross to $63.7 million. Combined with an international haul of $100.3 million, the worldwide total reaches $164.05 million.

Current tracking projects the new entry to finish its global run between $170 million and $190 million. It is projected to overtake The Last Key soon to claim the number two spot in the series. It remains to be seen whether it can outpace The Red Door to become the biggest commercial success in the franchise.
