Rajinikanth’s ‘Baashha’ idea was born from a scene discussed during ‘Hum’ shoot

Superstar Rajinikanth’s legendary movie ‘Baashha’ originated from an informal conversation between Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda on the production set of ‘Hum’. The two actors conceived a police sequence that ultimately was cut from the movie entirely. Captivated by the concept, Rajinikanth later shared the idea with filmmaker Suresh Krissna while they were working on ‘Annamalai’. Securing the title beforehand, the pair developed ‘Baashha’ and wrapped up the entire project in just five to six months.
