Anil Sharma has remembered the late veteran artist, Nana Patekar as the easiest actor to work with after Dharmendra, praising his warmth, simplicity and generosity on film sets. In an interview with Mid-Day, the ‘Gadar’ director revealed that they had discussed collaborating on ‘Gadar 3’, a reunion that will now remain unrealised. Patekar died at 75 on October 8, 2026, following a cardiac arrest. Sharma and the veteran actor last worked together on the 2024 film ‘Vanvaas.’
