The film is currently in its second week and will be impacted by the release of Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 on October 15. The heartwarming Tamil film was released in theatres on October 1. It had limited to no pre-release buzz. However, it sparked conversation after its release. In fact, demand was so high that the makers added more shows in the second week. However, none of this has translated into significant box-office numbers. On its second Tuesday, the film earned 1.22 crore net in India against 1,719 shows. The film’s net total currently stands at 25.83 crore, which equals 30.48 crore gross.

Baththa will not only lose shows but could also lose audiences if Rajinikanth’s film performs well at the box office during its opening weekend. With this, Baththa faces a serious challenge in entering the safe zone.
