Yash was the first to open the gates of the 100 crore club for Sandalwood in Karnataka. His KGF Chapter 1 was the first Kannada film to score a century in the state, grossing a huge 135.36 crore. It was followed by KGF Chapter 2, which amassed a massive 182.96 crore. His last release, Toxic, unfortunately failed to enter the 100 crore club, but with Ramayana, he’ll be looking to score his third 100 crore grosser in the state.

Yash was joined by Rishab Shetty, who has two 100-crore grossers in Karnataka: Kantara (183.6 crore) and Kantara Chapter 1 (247.48 crore). With this, Rishab has tied Yash’s record for the most 100-crore grossers in the state.
With Ramayana carrying genuine buzz on the ground level, it is expected to score big, and given Yash’s presence, it is expected to do well in his home state. All it needs is good word-of-mouth, which will make its entry into the 100 crore club possible in the state.
