Brian Cage has signed a multi-year agreement with All Elite Wrestling, according to a report by SoCal uncensored.
There was no date on when it will start with the company, but it was said that it will appear on AEW TV "soon." Cage's signature with AEW would explain the strange end of his fight with Rob Van Dam in Impact Wrestling & # 39; s Hard To Kill the pay per view. Cage vs. RVD ended up in a non-contest after Cage was opened and Daga took Cage's place and then lost to RVD.
Cage reportedly received offers from Ring Of Honor and Impact made an offer to keep the company. The ROH agreement was said to offer the most money, but Cage chose to get more exposure with AEW.
Cage is a former heavyweight world champion of Impact Wrestling. He lost the title to Sami Callihan in October on Impact TV recordings after pay per view from Bound For Glory.
Cage to AEW rumors date back to May when they saw him attend the payment for Double or Nothing event and there was talk of Cage entering the Battle Royale Casino in the pre-show, but that was rejected by Impact Fight officials.
