Digger crosses $35 million at the worldwide box office
According to Box Office Mojo‘s latest numbers, Digger collected just $3.2 million in its second weekend at the North American box office. The film declined by 60% from its already disastrous domestic opening weekend. It is more than The Bride‘s $2.1 million second weekend gross in North America. After the second weekend, the film’s domestic total reached $14.4 million. It has a comparitively better hold overseas than in North America as it collected $6.4 million in its 2nd weekend. Therefore, the worldwide box office for the movie is $35.3 million.

Digger surpasses The Bride
The Bride was released earlier this year and was also a huge box office flop, opening with $7.05 million in its opening weekend. It was made on an $80 million budget and collected just $23.9 million in its global run. The Tom Cruise starrer dark comedy has surpassed The Bride during its second weekend worldwide. It is still not a major win for Digger because it was made on a $160 million budget, which is significantly more than the Christian Bale-starrer Warner Bros. film.
